“Magiconsejo”: Consuelda, a special plant.

Today I want to talk about a magical and mysterious plant: comfrey.

Its name comes from the Latin “consolidates”, What does it mean “grow up together”.

It belongs to that group of plants whose uses seem almost unlimited throughout history.
It has been used as an aphrodisiac, antidepressant, leather tanning, as magic amulet, as an ornamental in medieval gardens ...

Formerly it was believed that nature put signs so that the man could recognize the properties of plants. In this case, it was the way the leaves are welded to the stem which revealed the healing power and welder Comfrey.
